LADWP is launching a new FREE central air conditioning servicing program beginning July 2016. It is for those who sign up for the Programmable Thermostat Program, and includes a free installation of a special programmable thermostat that can be used in LADWP's new demand response program - a highly impactful program for helping reduce electricity load at key peak times. Other items available in this AC optimization program, include: air filter replacement, cleaning of outdoor coils, refrigerant charge check & adjustment, air flow check and adjustment and duct testing. This program can be considered along with other home energy efficiency actions, such as insulation, fans and temperature regulating windows. |
